About: Students were having difficulty correctly writing and formatting a letter in an introductory course about American Government.
As an instructional designer, I created this reusable learning object (RLO) as a supplemental material for the module on letter writing so students could focus on bite-sized chunks of information within the structure of the letter.
The final product was embedded in an assignment in Canvas.

Students will learn more about how to format a letter by selecting the boxes around the different parts of a letter. This screenshot features information about the sender's address.
Elements of the letter that have significant content have more than one pop-up explaining the parts of the letter, such as the body paragraphs.
